1. Agreement

By accessing or using halalhelper.com and any tools, applications, or services provided by Halal Helper LLC ("HalalHelper," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. What We Are (and Are Not)

HalalHelper is a software platform and consulting service for halal meat industry operations. We provide yield analysis tools, market data visualizations, supply chain mapping, prayer time calculators, and business intelligence software.

We are not:

A halal certification body. We do not certify, inspect, or approve any food products or businesses as halal. Halal certification is provided by independent Islamic organizations.
A financial advisor or commodity trading advisor. Any market data, price predictions, or price analyses provided through our tools are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice.
A government agency. We use publicly available USDA and EIA data but are not endorsed, certified, or approved by the USDA, EIA, or any U.S. government agency.

3. Data and Predictions Disclaimer

All data, analyses, price predictions, yield calculations, and market intelligence provided through HalalHelper tools are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy using verified public data sources, we make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

You acknowledge that:

Price predictions are based on historical patterns and public data, and actual market prices may differ materially from predictions.
Yield calculations are based on USDA averages and may not reflect your specific livestock, processing conditions, or market.
You are solely responsible for any business, purchasing, pricing, or operational decisions made using our tools.
HalalHelper is not liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising from reliance on our data or predictions.

4. Intellectual Property

All software, source code, algorithms, 3D models, visualizations, user interface designs, and content on halalhelper.com are the exclusive property of Halal Helper LLC, protected by U.S. copyright law. Unauthorized copying, modification, reverse engineering, or distribution of our software is strictly prohibited.

Our tools incorporate open source components (Three.js, React) used under their respective MIT licenses. Government data from USDA and EIA is public domain. Attribution details are available on our Attributions page.

5. Subscription Services

If we offer paid subscription plans, the following applies:

Pricing, billing frequency, and included features will be clearly disclosed before you provide payment information.
You must affirmatively consent to recurring charges — we will never pre-check consent boxes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing omer@halalhelper.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.
We will send you a confirmation email upon signup detailing your plan, pricing, and how to cancel.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Copy, scrape, or redistribute our proprietary software or data compilations.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our tools.
Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
Resell access to our platform without written authorization.
Misrepresent HalalHelper data as official government data or as a halal certification.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HALAL HELPER LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

IN NO EVENT SHALL HALAL HELPER LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Halal Helper LLC, its owner, and its agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on our data for business decisions.

9. Third-Party Services

Our platform uses third-party APIs and services including Aladhan.com, Web3Forms, and government data APIs. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via our website.
